Unfortunately there's no chance as that report mentioned that they will be only airing the 13 that have already been made. So there's no chance of wrapping the story up unless that's what they actually did when shooting it; and if they didn't know they'd been cancelled well before that (so the scripts could be altered accordingly) well, as I said... no chance.

may as well stop watching it now then. Did not bother watching the last episode of Alcatraz either when they axed that. I tell ya them yanks are brutal with their shows

Too much so, really. They only care about programmes that are an instant ratings and that's it. It's really annoying and completely stupid

Especially when you look back and think that the first 2 or 3 seasons of American Idol weren't anything special in the ratings, but look at it since then.

It was Odessey 5 that I was most annoyed about

Further to this, it looks like we might actually be getting an ending after all
According to this post on the DSF, the guy in charge posted this on Twitter:

News is true. No Back 9 for #LastResort. We will film and and air all 13 episodes. We're going to give you no-holds barred kick-ass ending
|
So it sounds like they haven't actually finished filming yet!

Yeah
As much as I (usually) like Whedon's stuff, I wish that that had been renewed instead of Dollhouse.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations : Updated to 2012
Sorry! I don't even watch it myself. I just spotted it on the back of finding out that Burn Notice has been renewed for Season 7.

Me too. I just wish we weren't so far behind on the show!
