Question Is It Possible To Use A Apple AirPort To Get PS2 Online?

I am buying a PS2 Slimline off of a friend tomorrow, and i was wondering if it was possible to plug a ethernit from the back of the PS2 into the ethernet on the AirPort and Connect the AirPort wirelessly to my Router and get internet to the PS2

Is that Possible?

Hi,

You can do this with an Airport, provided the airport is a newer model and has a four port switch. You will need to connect the airport to your wireless network, then plug the PS2 into one of the ports on the switch.

What you need really need is a wireless game adapter. D-Link, Netgear and Linksys sell them for around £30. These will allow your PS2 (or anything with an ethernet port) to connect to your wireless router. I use these to connect PC's located upstairs, and an Xbox 360.

Google "wireless game adapter"
