help. need suggestion
Hi guys... I need some opinion... We are going to transfer in a new building... and we are currently on cable network bidding... can anyone suggest what is the best network cable?

oh~ so sorry.... what I mean is... our company will be movong to new building next year~ and we are looking for the best network cable for stability until the future... we have contact a lots of cabling company but I do not know which is the best... can you guys suggest what network cable is the best for company use? we have 500 PC in our company and if we move to our new building we want stable connection... can you guys suggest what is the best?

CAT 6e is the current standard I believe....does the new building have structured wiring in place? If not then you need to get some installed.
As for layout - depends on shape of building...you'll need x patch cabinets with copper or fibre between them. I'd say at least 3 or 4 points per person - this allows for PC's , VoIP phones, LAN devices (printers etc) to be connected.
Don't skimp on points...

For distances of under 100 metres: Cat5e or Cat6
For distances greater than 100 metres: you probably want to be looking at optical fibre.

...which is why you have mutiple cabinets and run the CAT 6E cables from there. You then have fibre between the cabs which starts creating the infrastructure backbone.
