Crikey, did I imagine it or does the article say it's gonna be sub $100? Dunno what the exchange rate is these days, but that used to be about £55ish... stunning price for such a card.
Bloody good find, Zing

Re: x1650 set to take <£100 graphics crown?
Why is it that when I buy stuff for a PC upgrade that a few weeks later the one I wanted to get, but was too expensive at the time drops buy lots?
Then again upgrading wouldn't be half as much fun...all I need to finish off my upgrade is a bit more RAM and I am happy

Re: x1650 set to take <£100 graphics crown?
I'm just happy since I swapped to an Asus Mobo. The DFI one I had drove me insane.
Also I managed to get a Coolermaster case £30 cheaper from E-buyer two weeks ago, and it's made a huge difference to my Mobo temp.
Once I have done the RAM upgrade I will be at a loss, but then again I am going to sort out my HDD's to run as Raid, no doubt that will keep me entertained for a few hours

Compaq Presario SR1180uk
http://support.pcworld.co.uk/layout....-30dd88ba904c}
( Link to the pc at pcworld )
Intel Pentium 4 550, 3400 MHz (17 x 200)
Asus PTGD1-LA (3 PCI, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR DIMM, Audio, LAN, IEEE-1394)
1024 MB
RADEON X600 Series (256 MB)
ATI Radeon X600 (RV380)
RV380 (PCI Express x16 1002 / 3E50, Rev 00)
446 MHz (original: 450 MHz)
290 MHz (original: 290 MHz)
So im wondering what graphics card would be the best option for about £100 - £150. Would i see much of an improvement over my old graphics card, will be playing on Ghost recon Adavanced Warfighter and Toca race driver 3 and really want to play on high stettings if possible and not ruling out getting new games to play on. Are they easy to fit and will anything else need upgrading on my computer.
One more thing how much would the computer be worth now and how much would it be worth in about 6 months time if thats possible to say. Cheers for your help in advance.
