Upgrade from Pace to Samsung STB?

Hi All and Welcome to Friday!!!!!!!!! Hope you all have a great weekend.
Can i get a free upgrade from my Pace stb to a New Samsung F.O.C or do i have to pay for it?
We`re finding the Pace is just getting slower and slower in response to the remote and sometimes it doesn`t find the channel at all.

If you have a fault then it will be changed and if the tech does not have any samsungs in the van you will get a pace.ntl will not send techs out to change stbs if there is nothing wrong with them

Re: Upgrade from Pace to Samsung STB?

Sorry if i`ve misled you all, it wasn`t intentional.
I would like to change my cable tv stb as its playing up at the moment and has been for about the last year or so.
My internet is fine as it`s through an NTL 250.
I just want to know if i can change my digibox through which i get my TV.

Hi iam sorry ntl will ony change a stb if it is faulty they will not changea stb for the sake of it .I cant answer the question about the upgrade as i work with sacm .I would think they might give you a stand alone modem rather than a other box thats my opinion.Back to samsung boxes if you have a pace box and theer is a fault on it there is a 50 50 chance you might get another pace.We have no say what boxes are deliverd to us .On my aera we have just got samsungs but we have nt seen them for 2 weeksAsk the tech if he has any BUT please dont whine when the tech says he has none. For most techs this is a pet hate when customers do this.I would happliy change boxes over when they are fault for a samsung

Re: Upgrade from Pace to Samsung STB?

Customers can have a Cable Modem fitted foc (if I remember rightly) so that they can receive the 2mg speed without any need for stb's to be changed
