hi there fuys this is my first post anyways i want to ask a question and it is i have a 10mb broadband from ntl and i've got the ntl home 120 modem. The thing is the max download speeds that i get is about 750 kb/sec and when iam on newsgroups i cannnot get more then 600kb/sec and i just wanted to know if this is normal as i would have thought that it should have been faster. thanks for the help guys.
Speed of your downloads can be affected by a number of things, and that can include what the server you are connected to can support. Not being a newsgroup user I have no idea whether that is reasonbale or not.
