Question Which router to buy?!?!

Seeing as there seems to be a million different types of routers on the market, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a decent router and USB adaptor/PCI card combo for my new desktop? I have NTL and a price range of ?50-60

The linksys wrt54g (does wired as well as wireless) is a popular choice.

Re: Which router to buy?!?!

Unlikely to get WRT54G and Linksys PCI card for £60 (unless you pickup a real bargain on ebay, like I did ).
But they work a treat for me.

If its wired, just use the onboard lan on the motherboard.

Question Re: Which router to buy?!?!

I read a different thread and someone advised going to the NTL website to check out their recommendations, so it gave me these combo packages:

1) Linksys WRT54GC-UK 54Mbps router % Linksys WUSB54GSUK 108Mbps USB adaptor
OR
2) D-Link DI-624 54Mbps router & D-Link DWL-G132 108Mbps USB adaptor.

Then I found this package on eBuyer:
Linksys WRK54G-UK 54Mbps router & Linksys WPC54G-UK 108Mbps PC card

Any thoughts on which one I should get, if any?

Re: Which router to buy?!?!

If you have an Ethernet port on the motherboard, why go for a pack with USB or PCCard Adaptors?
