Hi guys, I have the Belkin 7230 uk 4 router (can't remember all the other numbers, lol) and I wondered if I was able to access my internal network from outside via the internet. I think this would be done by VPN although I could be wrong.

Any ideas?
Not sure you need VPN just to access a computer on your home network - just some port forwarding set up on the router. Just don't askme how to do that, I've never tried it!
Thanks for the link Caster, that looks quite interesting. Do you have any experience of using that software?
I'm like you Chris, I know it can be done, many do it, but I don't really have a clue except that I had tried vpn successfully before i had a router. how would the average joe access their home network?
