Re: Doubled emails
I've had the same on an account I have with 1and1 and I use it only for the Yahoo groups and I've been getting about 4 copies of each e-email. I am with PlusNet as my ISP.

Re: Doubled emails
I found It to be a virus problem when this happened at work once. I logged into my mailbox via mail2web and deleted the offending email and all was fine.

Re: Doubled emails
It has now stopped. What caused it I don't know.. Doesn't seem to have happened to anyone else..My AV has picked up nothing.Did another search with Adaware,Spybot and with ZAP's new spyware scanner and I've found nowt.
Go figure.

Re: Doubled emails
I get this with Hotmail going into OE. Something to do with the way OE handles the POP/IMAP requests to the server. The next time it checks the server one of the copies disappears.

Re: Doubled emails
Yep it happened to me about 2 days ago. Had an email that was in twice. At a half hour interval. Deleted one and kept the other. No doubles since. Scanned with av and Spybot and Ad-aware se. Nothing.
Also use Mozilla Thunderbird,not OE.
