Upgrading from AOL

I am trying to upgrade from AOL dialup to NTL Broadband. However after uninstalling the AOL software to PC is unable to get a IP Address from the cable modem.

My laptop can so I know the fault is with my PC and not the modem. So is this likely to be something that AOL has left behind or a setting that AOL has changed. What is a good place to start

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks

Go to this SITE

It says spyware but AOL does the same as spyware when it is removed.

Then download the fix program and run it. It should fit on a floppy.
