I am having props.with a d5100 base phone and it is driving me bananas!
the phone goes from normal mode then beeps and goes to auto mode for awhile of vararing times then double beeps in to normal mode. When in auto you get an engwge tone but you can use another phone. I have changed the batteries, left the phone with out the batteries for 30 mins and the base off.
