				Is Virgin Throtelling Torrents?

The only reason i ask is the max i can get across 4 files at the same time is 9.7mb where downloading elsewhere on my 500mb connection i can get 72mb/s.
I tried 2 different VPNs also (ExpressVPN and Private Internet Access) and no change.

I also thought it might have been the torrenting software which i was using qBittorrent and now ive gone to Transmission Qt on a few recommendations.

 Thanks for reading and replying.

How would VM know you are downloading a torrent? The whole point ofd using a VPN is that the ISP can't see what you are downloading.

I tried without a VPN and it was still very slow downloading torrents.

No, they are not, ones I run from home work fine, without any VPN.
Just remember that speed is also determined by the available speed of the seeders, you are not always going to get high speeds.

No trouble saturating my download speed with a couple of torrents. No VPN in use (Private tracker)
As Paul says you do need enough seeds with a decent speed.

I have no problemo getting 43MB/sec. They are often finishing before I have chance to blink.

Not saying they do, or even can.
