reducing package?

I currently have the XL TV package, tivo 500mb, 152mb BB with weekend calls.

I was thinking of reducing my package keeping the XL tv but dropping my BB down to 50mb and losing the landline altogether.

I'm finding the VM site confusing with the the bundles and can't find an option to have TV and BB as just a package without the phone line.

I want to see what the price comes out as. but there is no function of build your own package anymore that I can find.

Any chance of pointing me in the right direction?

Managed to find it as seperate package works out about £65 a month.

I'm giving them a call next week as the package I have at the moment is £81 a month compared to the same one they advertise now works out at £64 a month

Re: reducing package?

Call 150, then from main menu option 5 option 3. Be polite and calm, explain that you notice that you are paying more than the advertised price online for your package and see what they offer you. Worth a try before downgrading any service.s

Re: reducing package?

Thanks,

I'm going to call them next week, if they wont budge I'll consider moving to sky and look at the best packages they do.

That's what I'm on now or the old package version of it. I'm going to give them a call next week to see if they will give me it at the price advertised if not I'll start looking elsewhere

Re: reducing package?

Might be worth looking at packages before calling. If they cannot budge then say you like the service with Virgin, but SKY can offer the same services for such and such price. They may then move a bit towards that. But like I say, calm and polite wins the day.
