box asking if I enjoyed the programme

After watching a recorded programme on our v+ box last night a question suddenly popped up on the screen asking if I had enjoyed it. Is this something new and why would we be asked this on a v+ box?

Re: box asking if I enjoyed the programme

Was it an actual question, or a generic hope you enjoyed watching it as I think I got that message after watching a recording.

Re: box asking if I enjoyed the programme

To be honest i do hope they don't start this crap. there is enough adverts on tivo's as it is without them asking each time if you liked a program

Re: box asking if I enjoyed the programme

I've had something along the lines of "we hope you enjoyed this programme. Do you wish to delete this recording?" I think that this appears when the the end of the full recording made is reached.

There is then an option to toggle to 'yes' or 'no'.

I've found that even if one clicks on 'yes', it still needs to be deleted in the normal way as it remains in the list of recordings made.

If one presses 'stop' on the remote control at the end the programme and there is still material to be viewed (eg padding/adverts) one simply gets a message along the lines of "Are you sure you wish to stop viewing this recording" and an option to toggle to 'yes' or 'no'.
