VIP to Kahuna? Email from VM

I have received an email from VM saying if I move to their new Big Kahuna from my existing VIP bundle I can get "all this more" for an extra £5.75 p/month

The "all this more" seems to consist of faster BB (100mb to 152mb) and a Smartcall app which means I can use wifi to call landlines (plenty of apps doing that anyway).

I don't need faster BB, better wifi would be nice though VM!!

I have a second box (V+HD) and unlimited calls, so what is the point or are VM trying to bamboozle everyone with re branding their packages and people are then worse off. I know some people seem to get good deals if they phone up retions etc, but how about just simplifying everything in the first place?

Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't want movies and I'm quite happy with the Eurosport/BT sport coverage and not fussed on SkySports.

Re: VIP to Kahuna? Email from VM

If you don't want Sky Sports or Movies then what you need is the Big Kahuna with your extra box and Talk Unlimited.

The Big Kahuna is £45 plus £15.99 for landline.

Your extra box is £6.50 and Talk Unlimited is £8.

Total is £75.49 per month.

Ps Smartcall is already available to you as it is available to all who have a Virgin Media landline.

I have got caller display (not sure if extra as it doesn't say after I have checked bill).
Last bill was £78.99 so would be £3.50 p/m saving.

Caller display is £2.25 per month.

If that's all your paying and you are on VIP which includes Sky Sports and Movies, you should stay where you are.
