Is this a good deal from virgin

Im currently on this package:
xl tv, tivo box & a v+ box
60/meg bb
m/ telephone

paying £50.54 mth

im aware there is a £17.00 retention deal on my account from when i first joined virgin some years back,
i phoned virgin yesterday to see about reducing my package and i think i was given a bit of b/s by virgin, the guy stated i was getting £17.00 & another £8.00 discount on my account which my bill only shows a £17.00 retention, virgin stated there was an "error" on my account which meant i should be paying £58.54.but said ill leave the "error" on ur account so you still receive the extra £8.00 discount. i didnt and dont believe a word of it.
so came off the phone with the same deal as im getting now.

Stop whinging. Independent of how the price is made up, you are on a very good price for what you have. Had I been Virgin Media, I would have called your bluff and said you were going onto a higher, correct price for what you have or let you go.
