send/recv LEDs light off

Red face send/recv LEDs light off

I am aware that when the LEDs are off for both send & recv you have the option of resetting the modem by isolating the power/cable from the modem for several minutes and then replacing it, and/or logging a call to Virgin Helpdesk to test the connexion.

The above bug started to happen daily from a few days ago and, due to Murphys’ Law, it usually happens when I am furthest away from the modem. In saying this I would like someone to explain what the most common cause of this bug is and how does the reset procedure resolve it. You may presume I am a layperson …..

i wish i can turn the superhub flashing lights up when i come home the other day our front room looks like there were a police car in it with the blue flashing lights on the superhub
