Quite an amusing site.
However, the Lib Dems are being a little economical with the truth, as the Labservative seven point manifesto includes :-
a) We promise to saddle students with debt for their university education.
b) We promise to protect corrupt MPs from public accountability.
c) We promise to accept funding from Unions and Big Business in exchange for political influence.
By which we are, I assume, to believe that the Lib Dems would do none of these things?
a) Their policy (well, Clegg's, and he's the leader) is to phase
tuition fees out over six years - wouldn't that still be saddling students with debt for six years after the election?
b) I thought that the Liberal MPs John Barrett, Sir Alan Beith, Sir Menzies Campbell, Sandra Gidley, Paul Holmes and Richard Younger-Ross all had to pay back money in the expense farrago? Let's not mention Lembit and his £2.5k TV (which got knocked back, so he bought himself a £750 one), and
the rest.....
c) Best not mention
Chris Nicholson, Prospective Liberal Candidate for Streatham,
Sudhir Choudhrie,
Michael Brown,
Paul Strasburger,
Paul Marshall,
Alpha Healthcare et al, then?
A little hypocritical, imho.
