Signal strength sporadic

Hey all iam after some advice from people who know about wireless networks.

Basically over the last 2 days my signal strength on my Laptop/Xbox360/iphone keeps dropping from anywhere between 54mbs to 1mbs?
Its normally a solid 54mbs all the time, could this be a router fault or signal issue many thanks

Nick
