can any tell me how to get to down load the virginmedia news groups
i have delete them in error, can not find any link that works on the virgin
pages , there used to be one where you could just click on a link,
got news server account set up as news.virginmedia .com. it does not find any virgin groups just variations on the name

I use Grabit (news reader prog) and news.virginmedia.com:119 as the server. You don't need a username and password like you did with ntl because they look at your ip address to know that you are on the network. If you do that and then click on update groups you should be able to get the full list.
What newsreader are you using?
you may find that using text.news.virginmedia.com is a lot better than the other one.
it's text groups only and no binaries.
