I've been looking most of the day, dont worry am not one of these people who want everything done for them. I was just finding it hard to find one I liked and thought some of the guys in the know wouldnt mind helping me out a little.

Not sure what I want to spend yet but if I think the boards good enough I will be willing to pay for it.

Thanks for the link looks like a decent one.

Re: Looking For AM2 Motherboard

well what features does it have to have there are hundreds. Look around for an AM2+ model to ensure compatibility.

This is most likely the daddy but its not cheap http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...%20Motherboard

Do you have a newish ATI gfx if so something with the spider platform may be worth the investment

this is a slightly cheaper one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...%20Motherboard

Re: Looking For AM2 Motherboard

I've got a 8800GT so onboard GFX is not needed. Onboard sound would be good for now but its not very important cause I can always buy a soundcard. Am looking at getting a 500GB Sata HD.

On another note do you think a 600Watt power supply will be enough to run the following.

AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core CPU
Motherboard (Not decided yet)
500GB Sata HD
8800GT GFX
CD/Dvd RW
2-4GB DDR2 (undecided yet)
Probably a Gigabyte rocket II as my CPU fan

Was looking at the following http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=27930 not sure if its good or not but seems to have great reviews for it.
