Which VM Broadband tier for XBL?

Is 2Mb enough? Is there any benefit (e.g. less lag) in upgrading to a higher tier?

Re: Which VM Broadband tier for XBL?

Well, I used to play XBL on the old 600kbps service, so I think 2Mbps would be more than enough.

The only benefit of a higher tier service would be that the higher upload speed would enable you to host games better (of course, you don't have to host).

Agree with Matt 100% Don't be suckered into thinking having a 20MB BB connection will give you the edge in playing online games. Stick to something cheaper unless, as Matt has stated, you want to host games. Save some dosh towards buying the games!!

And its always a good thing to remember on the lower tiers that if you want to download alot from the marketplace then you should do it late at night when the server load is lower and you wont get your speeds reduced.
