Video On Demand

Hi,

I'm new here and my English isn't that good.

I'm writing a paper for school about iTV and a part of it handles Video On Demand. Now I'm looking for some sites/books about the subject. It should be a technological explanation on how VOD works (not to technical, I'm no engineer). So you guys know where I should start looking? Typing "VOD" in Google doesn't give me satisfying results.

Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong section of the forum, or if the subject has already come up. (I don't really need 20-lines articles.)
