Upgrading to xp

i currently use a ntl:home 200 modem, and run on EDIT: windows 98. i just wanted some clarification as to whether i would need to download some new drivers, and if so where to get them?

I have looked on ntl's website, and was unable to find drivers for my modem, and i emailed ntl about the problem 2weeks ago and have yet to receive a reply.

thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrading to xp

Hi ravenjuice, to CF

Not entirely sure what you need to know, sorry.

You say in the title that you are upgrading to XP, then in your post you say you are running XP.

Assuming that you want to upgrade to XP Pro, AFAIK the drivers should work with both versions of XP.

If that's not what you wanted to know than please post back and we'll see if we can help some more.

Re: Upgrading to xp

If you are using Ethernet (recommended), then you don't need any drivers for the modem - just the drivers for your network interface. If it is a modern interface, these may well come as standard with XP. (I'm assuming the query WAS about UPGRADING to XP??).
