Battlestar Galactica
Anybody been watching this?
Seems to be perhaps one of the best SCI-FI shows i think i've seen, (well, the 4 episodes i've seen already anyway).
This could be a classic in the making by the look of it and the funny thing is I utterly hated the original series.
EDIT: BTW - Sky 1 8PM Mondays...

Re: Battlestar Galactica
It's looking really good upto now.
The original was never a favourite of mine. I watched it, but I never thought that it was that good.
I like the very apocalyptic style of it. In the original, even though they were badly defeated, on the run and hunted, it never seemed that bad to them, if you know what I mean.

I have been watching it, I think it's ok, but not brilliant.
Still I'll give a chance it may get a lot better

Its not meant to be the same as the original one though - a rehash of the original series wouldnt be all that good, it was better for them to try and put a fresh spin on it. Look on the bright side Incog, the leader of the cylons is a hot chick as opposed to a guy who looked like a darts player in a dodgy pub.
Or perhaps thats because im a bloke?
P.S Scott - check my first post.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
I missed this Monday's episode. It's a shame there don't seem to be any repeats, that I can find. Don't help that ntl's EPG only give three days max, but most of that comes up as "downloading". Any one know if there's an internet site I can download from (avoiding useless P2P stuff 'cos every time I've tried that it's taken months to get absolutely nowhere with the downloads)?

Was a fan of the original when i was a kid, but lets face facts .......it was pants.
Updated version is waaaaay better. Who cares if Starbuck is a women .....whoever it was they casted it just wouldnt be the same.
I hope Dirk Benedict does a guesty as the Cylon God

Use a decent tv guide
Each episode is repeated three times ;
Sky One Mix on the following Thursday at 8pm
Sky One on the following Friday at 6pm,
Sky One Mix on the following Saturday at 7pm

Thanks for the heads up - missed them all, but at least I know for the future
Anyone want to give me a brief update on what I missed, incase there's somethign critical for future episodes that if your not in the know would be most confusing?
