it's not been updated since July 31st. It's unaccurate. Best to ask in this thread, we know the answers. methinks that linky is pointless. does nothing.

i know that some parts within Baguley have, so of course.. that would mean that some uBr's have been upgraded too

NOTE: You won't recieve the upgrade if you don't reboot your modem. Rebooting your modem is the key to success.

My poor modem has been unplugged so many times over the last few weeks that it now waves a white flag the moment my shadow falls any where near it.

You've probably been STM'ed. Been downloading all day?

Some customers in Warrington are on the Baguley segment actually. But only a selective amount AFAIK.

Nope - got home from work, switched on, got the 30 -odd crappy emails, went to the BBC page, and lo-and behold, 3 mins to open the BBC home page! Hard to download as much as 1 kb when your at work all day

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer

I'm confused.
My daughters vista laptop (running the internal wireless adapter) is reporting the spped test as 10meg while my sons and my XP pc's (running belkin network adapters) are still reporting 4mb. Any suggestions as to why this would be happening, I've repaired the network adapter but with no joy

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer

Hi,

I know all the posts are "do you know when...." but.... Does anyone know when the Warrington Server is to be upgraded. I ask because I signed up and was told that I would receive 10meg as its upgraded. I have since spoken a lot to 150 who say I am in the 10meg area, and i just need to reboot my modem in 24 hours... which I have done every 24 hours for the past week or so.

I have asked my nephew who is spoilt by my bro-in-law who is on the XL package and he lives about 8 miles away in warrington, and he gets the full 20meg?? Im confused to how to find out which server I should be under and when this should be upgraded. I just feel a bit cheated to be on 4096000 when i should be on over double, and everyone is confirming I shouldnt have a problem??
