You should be able to get a seperate cable modem if you give c/s a ring!

Checked the scart leads on both STB's both are connected to the TV output, neither STB is connected via RF.

Re: Bromley upgrade starting....
It should work - it does on all the Samsung boxes round here... Does Mute work on the remote? What if you press the Left (<) and Right (>) buttons on the front of the STB?

If the remote is the most recent model, that won't do anything, as the settings are stored on EPROM.
I think the default code is 0000, so go through the settings process using that code, and it should control the box again.

I Know how you feel, I find it frustrating that all these people are saying how great it is better faster etc. Correct me if I'm wrong but if we are all paying the same are we not entitled to the same service at the same time, not an inferior service for two months longer than the first upgrade. Should we not be entitled to a reduction for not getting the service other people are. I think 80 quid is a lot of money for a service that is below the standard other people have.

Re: Bromley upgrade starting....
The software isn't rolled out nationwide concurrently to prevent a massive number of calls into the Customer Service Centres with queries, or the Faults Management Centres should something go wrong.
As for a reduction... Pfft!

Re: Bromley upgrade starting....
Channel 119 in Manchester is now showing upgrade info, and I received a book in the post today, so hopefully we'll be receiving the upgrade soon.
