Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?

Started this Twitter feed that boxing enthusiasts might enjoy:

https://twitter.com/HistoryOfBoxing

Proving to be fun so far. I downloaded a delay Tweet app which Tweets at specific times and dates. Currently populating it with boxing birthdays, boxing deaths, boxing results from years gone by plus other little facts and points of interest.

Trying to make sure it's as accurate as possible by cross referencing the information posted with at least 2 other sources.

Just a bit of fun really to keep me busy over the holiday period. A few days of setting up the delayed Tweets will keep the feed running by itself all year!

I'm trying to make sure any boxers who are mentioned get copied into the Tweet. Steve Cunningham was on like a shot when I posted he was beat by Adamek on this date last year

Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?

Boxnation are reportedly giving their presentation an overhaul prior to the launch of Boxnation HD. Their website is currently down for maintenance. Looks like the following is going to be their new on screen logo.

Looks promising.

I've just gone back through this thread to when Boxnation was first set to launch on Virgin Media. The noises coming out just now echo those from just over 2 years ago. The omens are very good indeed.

No new updates as of yet. 12 days until launch. I sent another e-mail to Boxnation and was told it's in the pipeline.

I feel it will be on Virgin Media from launch.

It was kind of expected following the launch of their HD channel. If the increase is for Virgin customers too, I suspect Boxnation HD will be along fairly soon.

The question is Boxnation value for money at £12 in either HD or SD, I have no problem with the price increase long as there is least one live boxing card per week, no two week gap or more between live events!
