Not a virus stopper, malware stopper, worm checker in site!...they are not needed...and the web broswer stops popups aswell (without downloading third party software!).

ohh at last, a computer I can use as is without adding any extras when it comes to surfing on the net! and glad its more stable as well

Just wondering how come macs generally dont need fans in them?

i think im correct in saying, they all need fans....ive even been told that before liquid cooling was introduced in powermac G5's , the G5's before had up to 9 fans :O:O...could still be the case.

can anyone recommend any software? its comes with iLife'05 so thast not too bad but what about good graphics programs (not v expensive ones) and music/video software?

Imovie is supposed to be pretty good, and I believe is part of iLife.

Photoshop Elements is highly recommended. If you don't need the latest version then try to get hold of Elements 2.0 as the CD contains both the Mac and Windows versions.

RealPlayer (go to http://www real.com/mac and click on the button) is a whole lot better than the Windows version as it doesn't contain any of the bloatware.

MS Remote Desktop Client works almost identically to the Windows version and is very useful if you have any computers running XP Pro.

And always remember that Version Tracker is your friend.
