Re: The what's cooking thread
I have just put a half shoulder of lamb (on the bone) into the oven (220 degs C) seasoned with garlic, honey, sea salt and mixed herbs. In 45 mins I will move it to the bottom oven (160ish degs C) for the next 6-7 hours. It will emerge so tender that the meat will literally fall off the bone.
It will be served with sprouts, roast potatoes and gravy
............washed down with organic red penfolds wine

It'll have to be a big lamb if half a shoulder is to feed us all!

I hope it tasted as good as it sounded
I've just stuffed a sea bass with lemon wedges & tarragon, wrapped it in wet newspaper & bunged it in the oven for 20 minutes, can't wait

Re: The what's cooking thread
Well as its Sunday night, I just have something quick and simple as I have things to get ready for the week.
Tonight I think I'l be making myself a croissant filled with Brie cheese and chopped tomato and then roast on the grill.
Quick and simple.
