According to Andrew, Rovi are after buying TiVo who have no CEO and a 2% market share. TiVo doesn't appear to be all that popular.

The QVC channels are owned by Liberty Interactive Inc. No surprise to me that a company related to Liberty Global would want their channels on Liberty's networks.

As others have suggested, it doesn't work that way, the QVC Group makes its decisions based on what makes best commercial sense for itself. Its shareholders would be unhappy if it didn't operate this way.

QVC HD was one of the channels persuaded to launch exclusive to Freeview HD in order to push their sales. As with 4HD+1 & 4Seven HD its not available on any other platform.

Are we really that excited about new QVC channels? It shows how desperate VM viewers are getting if we can get excited about this!!!
