Exactly the same in Wirral, Merseyside (CH63) - e mail was working earlier today but now dead. Tried phoning Cust.Serv. but can't get a reply. Could someone check please?

Re: Merged-Bloody email... Again

I'm starting to lose my patience with NTLs service. £34.99 a month, with no news servers to speak of and very intermittent email servers, despite a recent upgrade!

Angry Re: [Merged] ntl Email-Planned Maintenance.

Guys I got big problems with my email, I checked my email whilst at work via webmail obviously and I had 10 emails sat in the inbox which I wanted to download to outlook when I get home, now I am at a home and checked my email to find only 2 messages, both new, no sign of the other 10, wtf is going on!! does that mean my emails are deleted somehow by the server whilst they were doing maintenance work? please help guys !

Where'd my emails go?

I noticed here that NTL are having probs with the email service, but is it a regular occurrance when this happens for people to lose their email?

I have been trying to log in to my account for a while and now it seems to be working, apart from the fact that everything that was in my inbox is gone. I use IMAP so it should still be there.

I haven't changed or touched anything regarding my mail client, so I am baffled, and if those emails really are gone, about to be extremely angry.

Any ideas?

Don't apologise. Just give your customers a decent service.

Re: [Merged] ntl Email

I really wish they'd sort things out now. Why is it NTL? Why aren't Telewest or Pipex or AOL or any other ISP having such problems as NTL???

Re: Where'd my emails go?

Well, the server is down again for me at the mo, so maybe they're still working on it.

All we can do is hope!
