Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
No, they have a detailed description. Well, I say detailed. It gives a 2 sentence summary of the episode.

So I get the previous evening and the current evening being recorded each day and I have to delete one of the 2 each evening. Is there a way around this problem please?

I've just tried it with Title Keyword="Holby", and it is working OK for me. It is only planning to record the 18:45 episodes on channel 193, plus a couple of episodes on channel 865. Are you sure you've only created one wishlist, and you've got it set to "New & Repeats"?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Pretty sure, will double check. Maybe I have accidentally moved it onto Everything by accident.

Just checked, and I had accidentally moved the arrow to everything when setting a buffer on the series link. Oops. Thanks for the help.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
I've went through 6 batteries in my TiVo remote in the last 7 months. Is this normal? The batteries are of a decent quality.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
You both have other issues then - on just my second set in a year, and even that I consider to be slightly excessive.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
I reckon my biggest usage is skipping through the adds as it takes a minimum of 8 button presses per add break.

Sorry 8 per ad break ? Unless I am not thinking correctly - Quite Den !!.
3 to "speed up " 1 to bring back play
Do that all the time-Never watch an ad, even if I only start record to pick up show around 15 minutes later

He said skipping, not fast-forwarding.

Fair comment. In my defense we always say skip the adverts -but we fast forward ! not sure I have ever tried "skip" to be honest not sure I would even know how too.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Hi there
I've had my Tivo box for a couple of months now. One minor irritation. When I partially watch a recorded programme and stop it, the V+ box had an option to resume viewing from the point you stopped at. The Tivo will only allow me to watch from the begining again. Not the end of the world I know, but annoying when you have to fast forward a couple of hours through a longer programme.
Am I missing something obvious?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Highlight it in my shows and press play rather than OK. It will start from where you left it.
