Sun this time of year is as strong as in September so slap on that sun screen unless you have skin that doesn't burn easilly. ( Like me )

Just returned from a period of NHS 'hospitality' and given the circumstances I think they did a bloody good job, so well done to those who've poked, probed, prodded and pricked me endlessly for the last week or so.
I've yet to see the local quack but apparently I've been suffering a combination of the effects of a severely inflamed 'glandus cynicus' and acute 'imbibus excessus' whatever that means... |

Yes back home now Dilli thanks - just having a break from the garden work.
Not sure I could have survived another night on a hospital bed but luckily I was in a nice shiny hospital and my bed was next to a window with the most lovely view across a park and the major features of the London skyline. Fresh air and natural light are such precious things, I wish our hospitals were better exposed to them.

Anyway I've been catching up with site content and was wondering whether to start a thread on the frequency of rhomboids in nature, courgettes or possibly old toasters which randomly turn themselves on/off. Maybe I'll set up a poll... |

My happy thought, the visit from social services seemed to go ok. Aside from suggesting it may be better for us if Natalie wasn't working.

That wasn't you I read about on the Mail site last night? Bloke told he would get more help financially if his wife left work and went onto benefits.

Not if it was on the Mail nope, but we most likely would be better off financially if she did give up work.
