Yes. The software method. I thought you said you'd downloaded it before?

Yep. There you go!
For some reason it won't work with the on-line, ie web-based, version. Perhaps you should contact them about that

I accept its my error but there you are, I can't get it to work using the on-line method, is there another way?
I can't watch your video on my Mac so will have to forward it to my Windows PC later
I can get some functions working and its good to be able to switch all my stuff on with one click, so will keep trying

I think I've worked out why it's not working.
Just gone into my Harmony software, and if you select Cisco then CT8685, no PVR is found (and the default settings are loaded).
However, if you select VirginMedia as the manufacturer of your cable box, then enter CT8685 then it should work - at least it does on my Harmony Software.
Hope that helps.
(also recommend afront's tip "Use the big Up/Down buttons as Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down" once you get the TiVo box recognised)

Just downloaded the software, got a bit confused as when I first created my Harmony account it said it was downloading software,
I though that was what all I needed to do, will try it in the morning the Harmony site seems very slow at the moment

Glad to hear you've got it sorted Since I got my Harmony, all my previous remotes are now locked in a cupboard collecting dust
Also, didn't know there was a Mac version of the software. I'm thinking of making the switch soon, once Lion comes out, so this is good news to me. Thanks for the information.

Harmony one battery life with Tivo
I know this is almost impossible to answer as it depends on usage, but i'm wondering how many days people find a fully charged battery lasts on the Harmony One?
With my V+, my Harmony one having been charged overnight and used a little in the day and a good amount in the evening, the charge indicator stayed on full.
At the time I got my Tivo, I noticed that by the end of the evening, the charge indicator had gone down to 2 out of the 3 on the level scale.
But just to complicate things, I had the 'swollen battery' known fault and Logitech sent me a new Harmony one.
I find that is also going down to 2 out of 3 of the charge levels. Logitech told me to fully charge it and see how many days it lasted. It lasted 3 days, but towards the end of the 3rd day it was still working fine but had gone to the brown indicator (rather than one of the 3 green ones).
Before contacting Logitech again, I thought I'd see what other people are getting. Although I suspect that it's not something people check out, I thought it was worth asking.
Tivo does have a lot more menus to navigate, so that could be the reason for the difference?

Re: The Harmony remote thread
My battery is knackered should really have followed it up with Logitech when in warranty. I get about a days usage but it has only ever run out the once on me. The fact that you are probably fiddling with every menu and option on your TiVo is helping to drain your battery. Once you go into normal usage mode you will be fine.

Are you sure that it is not suffering "Memory Fade", Newer battery's are said not to suffer this. Do you charge it every night or leave it until it runs out and then re-charge

Re: The Harmony remote thread
I set my Harmony One up as a PVR, then selected CT8685, then it let me select Tivo. I now have the thumbs up/down icons on my screen when I setup the activity.

Just redid mine using that, although due to having the colour buttons, a my shows and zoom buttons on the first screen they have been set up on page 2. I am sure I am more likely to continue to use the up and down rocker for thumbs up and down but it does look very cool.

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Got my Tivo working with my Harmony One remote all working great except for one thing!
Set up all my favourites but its so slowwwwww changing over. I mean really slow. If you use the number buttons its great but using Favourites is awful.
Any one else had this problem and if so is there a solution?

I have exactly this problem, and have tried the varied suggestions here to fix it, including stting up the device as a Cisco, a Virgin Media and a Tivo. All give me the same result as Dazza outlined above. I've logged a query with Logitech, but if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.
