Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Virgin Media to add some new Channels - set to launch before Thursday.

I can now reveal that the following channels will appear on the following packages by Thursday:

Channels to launch:
-TLC* to launch on Virgin Channel 167 on the M+, L and XL Packages.
-TLC HD* to launch on Virgin Channel 168 on the XL Package.
-TLC +1* to launch on Virgin Channel 169 on the XL Package.
-ID +1* to launch on Virgin Channel 215 on the XL Package.
-Animal Planet HD* to launch on Virgin Channel 217 on the XL Package.
-Zee Café** to launch on Virgin Channel 811 on the M+, L and XL Packages.
-Zing** to launch on Virgin Channel 813 on the M+, L and XL Packages.

The Channels will launch on:

*Set to launch on Tuesday,
**Set to launch on Wednesday.

-My insider has also confirm that NHK World HD will launch on Virgin Channel 625 on the XL Package in 'Early May'.

-No word yet on when E! HD and Universal HD will launch on Virgin Media.

UPDATE: Animal Planet HD has NOT been confirmed by insiders - info was found by me some weeks ago.

Never understood the point of +1 on XL, if the whole point of them is increased revenue with little effort, why then limit the number of possible viewers?
