Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
I'm in Glasgow, G14 area, pre-registered and not had the upgrade pushed over so it must be that my area on the Broomhill ubr is struggling to support the new speeds without a network upgrade.
Still using a VMNG300 modem on 120mb with four downstreams and no problems with maxing it out at full speed when required but with the introduction of eight downstreams it looks like the ineviatable swap for a super hub will be required on 152mb.

The reason you won't have got the upgrade is that you don't have compatible kit for 152Mbit

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
Ok Ben but I was never offered a super hub as the VMNG300 was a 50mb product which had upgrades to 100 then 120 automatically applied to it. How do i get a SH2 from Virgin (and not a SH1) without paying for one?

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
Pretty sure you should have got offered a SH last time around when it went from 100 to 120Mbit.
Those that need a SH2 to get their speed upgrade as part of these upgrades arrange it via My VM for £5.99 P&P.

Can you still sign up for that pre supercharge or has that boat sailed now?

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
I preregistered interest when it first went up but never saw an early upgrade so I can only assume they decided this area isn't ready though you can order it as a new customer. I just hope I don't have to wait until May 2015 like MyVM says!

Re: Virgin Media 150Mb Coming 2014
I have the 152Mb upgrade in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Very pleased with downstream, shame about upstream though....
Mustn't grumble though, pretty awesome for a home connection which is cheap as chips really
My sig and avatar are there for historical reference

I too pre-registered and have not had an upgrade. SH2, so should be classed as compatible :p

Bah mine's been pushed back too.We always get a bum rap in Wales; may as well follow Scotland into independence. There's nothing 'United' about a Kingdom where some sections of the population are always made to play second fiddle.

Not true, Barry always used to be 1st in the rollout schedule for major upgrades, 10:1 50Mb and 100Mb to name a few

Its even worse down here in Deepest Devon Kursk as you can bet your better dollar we are near enough last on the list.
