Lockdown's certainly finished around here and not being enforced. Grand kids staying with grandparents overnight etc. People now feel they have carte blanche as a result of Cummings. Lets hope in a few weeks time we aren't back at square one.

I’m quite looking forward to going back to square one to be honest, it’ll expose Government failings and crash the economy more than at present. We’ve got more cases and recorded deaths than when we went into lockdown.

Who amongst us hasn't build an additional dwelling on land they've co-owned with their sister and father, and accidently overlooked the requirement to ask for planning permission or paid Council Tax on it?

Me and my brother used to put a tent up sometimes in the rear garden of mum & dads council semi . . . and we once built a (crap) tree house on land that didn't belong to us.

Another senior UK government figure has gone into self-isolation after developing symptoms of coronavirus, following Boris Johnson’s diagnosis last week.

Dominic Cummings, the prime minister’s closest adviser, showed signs of the virus over the weekend and will remain at his London home for the next seven days.

Number 10 insiders confirmed Mr Cummings, who was last seen running out of Downing Street on Friday, was self-isolating. He remains “in contact” with key staff to continue advising on dealing with the crisis.

Mr Cummings has been the most influential member of Mr Johnson’s inner circle since he became prime minister last summer. The aide is credited with shaping Number 10’s strategy and messaging on delivering Brexit, “levelling up” the British economy and tackling coronavirus.
