Re: [Merged] CR3-Feedback & Questions in Here Please.
I had an engineer visit me this morning - I'm fed up with having to reboot my box daily - he reckons that another update is due out this month.

Maybe he was talking about B3.2? I'd be surprised if Langley gets another update before Bromley, regardless of when it happens.

Does every Langley box now have the same software on it (ie, all the 1000, 2000, 4000, 4010s). The roll out targeted specific box types, but ultimately did the same software arrive on all boxes.

Oh right. But it seems strange though that it has 'lost' IB lock.
Also another favourite of my STB is TAS Tuned Out... or something like that. Is that normal along with failed to get login params?

Dunno, the late lamented Proppin told me about the IB lock one, unfortunatly he won't be along soon to answer this one.

langley platform only has 4001 and 4010 boxes. and all boxes should have the software now, apart from those with faults.

Re: [Merged] CR3-Feedback & Questions in Here Please.
To answer a few recent points...
"Lost IB lock" and "TAS Tuned Out" are nothing to worry about. (It loses the IB lock before regaining it on a channel change). In fact those messages, and the "FEC reset" one, will be removed from the software next time around. Sorry, don't know what "Failed to get login params" means, or whether it is bad.
No software downloads are planned for this month, but there may be some tweaking of the servers.
