Re: Vigin Media 3D
According to BBC there isn't that much demand though.
http://www.3dfocus.co.uk/3d-news-2/3...-falling/12637
...the BBC was very excited when they started the trial but that each time a 3D show was broadcast, the ‘spike’ got lower, despite the growth in potential audiences.

Any chance BT sport will broadcast anything in 3D?

The cameras would be a wasted investment on their part.

Re: Vigin Media 3D
BT sport won't actually be filming anything... Also I know people with freeview HD 3D tvs who are not aware that the bbc sometimes broadcasts in 3D, they all think that only sky does, as for sky's figures being low maybe they should make it easier to obtain?

Re: Vigin Media 3D
That's sort of along the lines of what was thinking, but unless they shout from the rooftops about it people won't be aware.

Re: Vigin Media 3D
3D really isn't taking off and past formats of home entertainment tend to have taken off by now....

Re: Vigin Media 3D
Well I'm on the verge of signing up to sky's New entertainment plus pack which includes the 3d channel.for £31.50 a month which I think is pretty good.
I'm currently out of contract and wanting to keep the internet and phone but change the tv.
What I'm trying to do is compare this sky pack and my XL virgin media pack in regards as to what channels they have to see what's what.

Re: Vigin Media 3D
And you won't get movies and sports on that 3D package with $ky unless you pay for the top tier.

Why do people use terms like $ky or Verminmedia? Very childish. I did enjoy Manu-AstonVilla last night in 3D. But you do get some great 3D on the normal Sky package now,

Re: Vigin Media 3D
Well I think I'd take out the entertainment pack plus and movies so that would be £42.50 that can't be bad.
