I find the Filmon TV app (free) is much better for streaming live TV than TV Catchup. (No ads and better bitrate).

Yes, I don't mind paying for the apps, but first I wanted to get the free ones before exploring the paid ones

If you don't mind paying then I'd highly recommend TuneIn Radio (must have), RealRacing2HD (as stated) and labyrinth 2 HD.

There are a lot of really bad apps/games that ain't worth the asking price, so best to do a lot of browsing to find the recommended apps. Saying that, jailbreaking an ipad2 really does make a massive difference to how you can get the best out of it.
