To be fair it would mean him driving home, getting the clubs, and coming back to wack him. Then Abedayor would have caught wind of it and would want to join in. Nightmare.
We'll see the full story but there is a element of "United fans would say that wouldn't they". Although City fans were saying that about Arsenal fans complain about the Ade stamp on Persie and that was actually quite bad so we'll see when the footage emerges.
If so I not sure if the FA can do anything, it would be a police matter.

To be fair (And yes i will keep defending the guy) he came off so we could get a poacher on, as Ferguson said, the ball was bouncing about in the box a lot. I didn't see the game, but he was supposed to have been outstanding again, and bar Given would have got a goal. I think his link up between Midfield and Attack (Or Rooney as it is known) is really starting to look good.
And people need to get off Fosters back, the guy has played six games at one of the biggest clubs in the World, he IS the the future England Keeper and long term VDS replacement, you can see he has it in him to be a great Keeper. Just needs a season. It was poor defending, not poor keeping that let three in today, and we all know that is a blip as far as UTD are concerned.
City always cause issues, and have done over the last few years, they did the double over us the other season. As pants as they have been, they ALWAYS show up for the Derby.

I strangley wanted Man United to win, and i think i even cracked a smile when Owen scored the winner. I feel very dirty.

*cracks knuckles*
Right them - first of all I don't hate him, I just think he's a useless striker. No, not a useless player, but a striker's job is to score goals. How many did he get last season, 9? IIRC he played in every game which gives him a ratio of around 1 in 10. And that's awful for a striker let alone one we paid £30m for.
Honestly the man could not hit a cow's @rse with a banjo.
I've said in the past he'd be much better off as a central attacking midfielder. He seems to be good on the ball, he workrate is better than most and his passing is impressive, it's his finishing that badly lets him down. As it is he's a liability up front when he could be replaced with someone who can finish.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Absolutely fantastic.
They did the timing on MOTD and it was 1s too long, unlucky Hughes. And Bellamy palmed the guy for no reason. So the Owen goal was totally fine. And the xtra time after that was all for City. And Bellamy soon to be on a 3 match ban? Loosers.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
The fan had been pinned to the ground by a number of stewards, they lifted up to walk him off and Bellamy, who was no where near the fan, comes up and hits the fan.
They also showed that Garrido may have been hit by something thrown by the crowd.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Can the FA actually do anything about the punch? It was outside of play and to a member of the public. Isn't get a police matter? (one which shouldn't result in anything but a informal warning or something)

I wouldn't even like to guess, the FA are an enigma. It's bringing the game into disrepute, I suppose. But then it is a fan on the pitch, so nothing to do with anything the FA have control over, it would be UTD's fault. But then we sorted it as we should and so it is assault. Would think it is a Police issue not FA.
It was really stupid, I would stick up for Bellamy, the fan shouldn't be on the pitch, but he was 15 yards away and walked over and got involved, the guy didn't even look or speak to him, so he deserves what he gets.
---------- Post added at 23:26 ---------- Previous post was at 23:23 ----------
It was nothing, a palm to the face, big deal. But in this day and age.........well who knows. If the guy reports it, Bellamy could be in trouble. Mind he didn't upper cut the guy three times, so he should be OK.

120 million on a new team.
Unbeaten in the league.
A free transfer hitting the winner in the 96th minute.
.................. Priceless!!!

I assume you are referring to the time added on.
Who's to say Man City would would have not scored in that time, it is the same for both teams.
I suppose if Spurs gained a win in added time, lets say 5 mins, and scored 2 goals to beat whoever, although I admit it is not likely, you would complain?
