I wouldn't hold your breath. Adobe have been promising 64 bit versions of all their plugins since Windows XP 64 came out.

And a separate rumour to that one...

http://www.appleinsider.com/articles...iphone_21.html

Allegedly a much bigger jump than from original iPhone to iPhone 3G...

Hmm. Oh well, if it's true, I'll "only" have a year to wait on my current contract when it comes out. Arse, LOL.

I have mms on my iphone

It is a free download but you do have to pay to send mms.

However most of the time I send pictures via email anyway which is totally free.

re: The iPhone thread

Hopefully O2 will do what they did last time and allow upgrades old iPhone users to exchange for them renewing their contract (and paying for the price of the handset of course)

re: The iPhone thread

Well, I went for the iPhone 16Gig in black.

Very nice phone. I like the way that the iPhone developers have embraced GPS in a way that Symbian Developers haven't. As an example. I have a couple of nice free apps that use GPS very well. One finds any Wifi hotspots near you (free or paid). Another allows you to stream broadcasts of local commercial radio stations.

In fact, they've done that with a lot of the iPhone features. The Accelerometer is put to good use in Google Earth (you tilt the phone to tilt the view).

I like the way that the software is integrated. For instace, the free Wifi finder above has a "map" option. When it's selected, the iPhone fires up Google Maps to show the local area.

There is stuff I don't like. Like, for instance, the need to "sync" music to just one itunes library, unless you hack all your other libraries to have the same signature. I can understand the limitations of syncing other stuff with multiple libraries (such as contacts and calendar entries), but why not offer the same freedom to use multiple libraries that the iPod classic does?

Google Sync for iPhone -

http://www.google.com/mobile/apple/sync.html

Although you could already sync with Google Contacts, this lets you also sync with Google Calendar.

Also available for...

http://www.google.com/mobile/default/sync.html

# BlackBerry
# Nokia S60
# Nokia standard
# Sony Ericsson
# Windows Mobile

I'm not keen on Google Contacts myself - seems to demand everyone has an email address.

Calendar sync'ing would be good though...

No one else tried this yet?

I set it up tonight. Switched from Outlook Express for the Contacts, and nothing for the Calendar, to using Google for both (did require a couple of fake email addresses for my contacts that don't have one though).

Works well

Uses Exchange/ActiveSync for Contact & Calendar synchronisation - & Pushes updates to the phone (or back).

Now we just need Google to sort out Push & OTA sync'ing for Google Mail...

I thought google only works when iPhone is set to fetch.
