Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)
R36 has arrived on mine. Finally get 100Mb speeds on wireless, a massive disgrace it took this long. Anyway did a quick test at 300mbps with PS3 before I went to work and it did not disconnect. The new GUI is much nicer so far.
What should be the firewall settings now? Is it safe to have ip flood and port scan detection enabled? What about the other settings such as OBS. Etc?

Got it here.
Quick question:
How do you enable Greenfield Mode?

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)
You mean it improves wireless speed drastically

(Well it's supposed to. Whether the Superhub does what it's supposed to is subject to another debate)

Nope, not with the superhub, seems to limit wireless speeds to 2 or 3 mbit

Since I run the Shub in 5Ghz mode (so no G devices to dodge), and there are no other 5Ghz networks in the area either, I have enabled greenfield mode and disabled (unticked) OBSS.
So, are you saying I've set things wrongly due to the Shub being a bit of an oddball router?
Could you advise directly on how the Shub reacts to these two new settings, and so how we should be setting them, please?
Ta mate.
