Would think there will be some clever compression used , hasn't been announced how this will work although I do remember an interview saying not all the game had to be downloaded to start playing it

Possibly no 24hr check in and no restriction on used games but I need to see facts.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I wasnt bothered by the DRM or the online check in but this makes brilliant news. Maybe now all the Sony fanboys will shut up

Yes, it says that will not happen now..you need to have game in the tray
that is the trade-off
No issue for me...others might be disappointed..but you can't have everything

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I may get an Xbox now, the only 3 things stopping me maybe kinetic, games not region free and the ps4 having more power.

"Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console — there will be no regional restrictions."

That's a bad trade IMO , could have saved a small fortune in games

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Dave Mattress has now apparently confirmed that the 24 hour check-in nonsense has been backed out.
A victory for common sense.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
The problem with people these days is they are too reluctant to embrace change , digital downloads are the future of gaming , yes the 24 hour checkin was a little over the top but the family sharing idea was groundbreaking in my opinion. It's now no more special than the ps4 in terms of evolution to the next generation.
