Yes it was disconnected but I change me mind coming back to virgin media because they removed traffic management on download which it good news. My daughter can have FTTC up to 72Meg while I getting full speed 152Meg

It states in the post code checker that the 152mb will not be done in Swansea until August 14 - Jan 15. Yet if i log into my account it says i can upgrade to 152 now and call them.

My area also says August 14 to January 15, but gives no opportunity to upgrade now with a call. Where exactly does yours say that?

Mine said nothing like that either but just rang up anyway and they did it straight away, even spoke to someone English

Checked a few random postcodes in the postcode checker and they've all said that up to 152Mbps is available, so seems to be available country wide, they just aren't telling people this.

Jonathan: Okay, great news - you're in a Virgin Media cable area. That means we'll be able to bring our services to you by fibre optic cable, specially designed for digital services.
Jonathan: Your address is capable of getting upto Broadband 152Mb with us.
You: If I were an existing customer in this area, on 120Mb could I have that as an upgrade?
Jonathan: Yes, Broadband 120Mb has been upgraded to Broadband 152Mb.
You: So mt neighbour at number 25 on 120 Mb can ring now for that upgrade?

Jonathan: Yes, he can upgrade the package. Infact, we'll automatically upgrade his package to Broadband 152Mb without any additional cost.

I think this is really dishonest way of dealing with existing customers. Why do that!
