She has her own website, Facebook page, Twitter account, merchandising range and countless fans.

Now, after a journey halfway round the world, the record-breaking Australian mare Black Caviar is ready for Royal Ascot.

The 10,000-mile trip was an adventure in itself. She stood for more than 30 hours in a spandex compression suit inside a special cargo crate as she flew from Melbourne to London Heathrow via Singapore and Sharjah.

Once in London, she was taken to stables in Newmarket where she was in quarantine for 48 hours.

Black Caviar preserved her astounding unbeaten record with a desperately narrow triumph in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The Australian sprinting sensation secured her 22nd consecutive victory with a dramatic head defeat of Moonlight Cloud.

It was a remarkable finish, however, as regular jockey Luke Nolen, who had looked in supreme control from the outset, appeared to ease down his mount close to the line. The 1-6 favourite still held on for a famous victory after a short wait for the photo-finish.

Sea Moon ran out a hugely impressive winner of the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot for Sir Michael Stoute.

Sent off the 3-1 favourite, the colt showed an electric turn of foot at the two-furlong pole under Ryan Moore and burst clear of his field after Aiken had led them coming into the straight.

At the line the Khalid Abdullah-owned four-year-old had three and a quarter lengths in hand of Melbourne Cup winner Dunaden, who was hampered when making his challenge, with Red Cadeaux in third

Frankie Dettori claimed his second Royal Ascot winner of the week when Tha'ir struck in the Chesham Stakes.

Suitably inspired by his Gold Cup success aboard Colour Vision, the Italian maestro delivered the Saeed bin Suroor-trained colt with an inch-perfect challenge deep inside the final furlong.

Tha'ir (9-2) stayed sharp and true on the charge to the line, and had two and a quarter lengths in reserve of runner-up Cruck Realta, with Lovely Pass another neck away in third. The 2-1 favourite Move To Strike made late progress but was no match for the accomplished winner.

Five-star Moore lifts title.

Ryan Moore was crowned leading jockey at Royal Ascot 2012 with five winners.

William Buick had topped the charts following Camborne's victory in the penultimate Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes, but Moore had the final word 35 minutes later.

The former champion jockey was reunited with Tuesday's Ascot Stakes winner Simenon, who added to his gains in the concluding Queen Alexandra Stakes. Buick also secured five winners, but had one third place to Moore's two

Irish eyes were smiling in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot when Dandy Boy scooted clear for trainer David Marnane.

The Pat Dobbs-ridden six-year-old powered away from the far-side group to cause a 33-1 upset.

Waffle fared best of the stands-side battalion to finish second, a length and a quarter away from the winner, with Hawkeyethenoo and Morache Music third and fourth respectively.

Camborne produced an outstanding burst of speed to win the Duke Of Edinburgh Handicap at Royal Ascot.

Trained by John Gosden and ridden by William Buick, who teamed up for a Royal treble on Friday, the four-year-old came from last to first within a heartbeat. Buick switched his partner wide inside the final furlong and a half and he simply flew.

Two and a half lengths separated Camborne (11-2 favourite) and Hammerfest at the line, with Harrison's Cave and Alkimos third and fourth respectively.

Connections of Black Caviar will not be rushed into making a decision on her future but there appears to be every chance she will race again.

The Peter Moody-trained six-year-old extended her unbeaten record to 22 with a narrow victory in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday. She would, however, have been beaten in a few more more strides as Moonlight Cloud nearly cashed in on a bad miscalculation by jockey Luke Nolen

Meandre beats star fillies.

Andre Fabre's Meandre got off the mark for the campaign with a fine display in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud.

The four-year-old's comeback fourth in Newmarket's Jockey Club Stakes did not inspire much confidence for the rest of the campaign and a subsequent defeat at Group Three level meant he was the outsider of four runners in this competitive Group One heat.

Camelot cut again for Derby double.

Camelot continues to shorten ahead of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh on Saturday.

The Investec Derby hero could even go off at a price resembling that of two superstars from Royal Ascot, according to Paddy Power, who price him up at 1-4 favourite from 2-7.

The bookmaker said: "There's been bits and pieces of cash for Camelot today and it's looking more and more likely that he could match Black Caviar or even Frankel's Royal Ascot starting prices on Saturday."

A trip to Glorious Goodwood is on the cards for Saddler's Rock following his excellent run in defeat in Thursday's Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.

The John Oxx-trained four-year-old pulled fiercely in the early stages of the two-and-a-half-mile feature, but still finished third behind Godolphin duo Colour Vision and Opinion Poll.

Oxx feels the result may have been even better with a strong pace from the outset, and is looking forward to a possible assault at the Goodwood Cup on August 2.

Most Improved given Sussex option.

Most Improved could be supplemented for the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood after his striking win at Royal Ascot.

The Brian Meehan-trained colt was a major ante-post gamble for the 2000 Guineas, but a setback before his proposed comeback in the Craven Stakes forced him to miss the Classic. He then travelled to Chantilly for the French Derby but met plenty of trouble in running and lost both of his front shoes.

The winner of the 2000 Guineas and most recently the Derby at Epsom, Camelot is set to be a hot favourite in a bid for his third Classic before a likely attempt at completing the British Triple Crown in the St Leger.

Cheltenham Festival winning-jockey Campbell Gillies has reportedly died following an accident on holiday in Corfu.

The young rider enjoyed arguably his finest moment in the saddle when partnering Brindisi Breeze to victory in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Festival last March.

Its very sad to hear this dreadful news of one still young and with his best days ahead of him.

Thompson starts his leave immediately and will miss the whole of July as he receives treatment.

Walter Haefner, founder and owner of the Moyglare Stud in Ireland, has died in Switzerland at the age of 101.

He owned and bred many top-class horses, the latest of which was Princess Highway, winner of the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot last week and now a leading fancy for the Darley Irish Oaks. His recent Curragh winner Speaking Of Which is prominent in the betting for this weekend's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.
