Well Darlington or Teeside is not mentioned on that and i have already been upgraded to 3mb. I live in Darlington. Could be that the network around this area was already able to deliver the new speeds so no work was needed, where as the areas listed need network upgrades? I'm no network technician, just a guess

Quick question on behalf or a relative: Can you upgrade from 300k to 1mb via the manual method? If not then can CS do it yet?

I'm upgraded to 2mbit here in Peterborough, had to do it manually. Not found anything to download yet though

How much more would it cost for extra bandwidth? I don't want it to cost too much since I will go over 3GB by about 1GB each month

Did you try it manually and it tell you it wasn't available?

If you read the news article, you'd know that it hasn't been announced/decided yet.

Nothing has been decided on this yet - and won't be until later in the year when the hard capping is enforced.
Of course, I wouldn't worry too much: hard capping is "coming soon"....
Phil.
