Robson & Jerome. Anything by them.
Didn't Chris Waddle and Glen Hoddle have a hit in the 80s as well? Wasn't that crap?

Nik Kershaw wrote that you know. Funny since his own albums to be Frank and 15 minutes are both fantastic with great lyrics.

And I think I'll add any song that has been at number 1 for more than 4 weeks, it just becomes overplayed. Prime examples here are Brian Adams everything we do is driven by you..., amongst others.
How about
"I lost my heart to a starship trooper" by Sarah Brightman (the x Mrs Lloyd-Webber).
and
Aled (I come from the Vallys you know) Jones - Snowman
edit ooh and another one
Cliff Richard - Mistletoe and Wine

Re: The worst song you have ever heard
I can't believe we have 3 pages of irritating songs, and nobody has mentioned "I wish I could fly" by Keith Harris and Orville..

If you're really lucky and get the right weekend you can see them all on VH1s worst.

Couldn't remember the song title (painful stuff like that is best forgotten) but I did allude to it here: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...0&postcount=21 (sorry to be picky )

Was it absolutely necesary to post that. Now I can't stop humming it
It's almost Red rep territory, then you'll never get your bright green one
On the other hand it's equally sad that you found, or remebered the lyrics in the first place.

Blame Neil , he posted the title and got those damn lyrics in my head .
There was an article in the news a few months back about music bees or whatever this damn professor called them, anyway he had been researching how these get into you head , how long they stay there etc. Do you think I can find it. Must be less ruthless with the delete button on my inbox.
