No Entertainment channels and no Sky...
Not worth the cable.

I really hope they get the FTA channels on that list shortly, what a let-down!

I'm sure VM are working on getting more channels for it, however it'll be down to the content providers as to whether they allow it or not.

Must have been a freakin' nightmare to get the current channels available... Hopefully they'll continue to improve the selection over time!

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?
Multi room streaming is not the streaming performed by tv anywhere. Two seperate forms of streaming. I dont think MRS is as imminent as TV anywhere.
MRS is streaming of recorded shows from one of your TiVo boxes to another of them.

John

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?
How frustrating, that channel list makes it pretty much useless!

Does that mean you won't be able to watch all of your recordings on another box? Only certain channels?

Agreed first to the post with the product but what an uninspiring list.

Re: Multiroom streaming ... who's ready?
What a spectacular disappointment on the channel choice, it doesn't even have the channels that were there during the brief trial (Channel 5 etc). Quite why VM thought anyone would be interested in recording a shopping channel and playing it back via a second Tivo but have failed to negotiate the rights for any of the mainstream channels I don't know.
I was really looking forward to this due to the convenience of it, but this has left me very underwhelmed.
